Show A Bride at 8& 1 When a woman of the age of 03 years marries it must be because she wants to marry, and that is just what happened in the history of "Aunt Katy" Currie, who died at Warwick, Orange county, at the extraordinary age of 107 years and 8 months. Her maiden name was Catharine Catha-rine Woodruff, and she was born in the adjoining town of Monroe. When she was 83 years of age she married Joseph Currie, a prominent and well to do farmer of Warwick, with whom she lived until his death, in 1872. "Aunt Katy" is entitled to the singular distinction distinc-tion of having gone to the altar as a bride after she had entered upon her 92d year. The bridegroom, James Nelson, was 68 years old, and the marriage took place two years after the death of her first husband. Before contracting this second marriage "Aunt Katy" tore the record of her age from the family Bible, and always al-ways declined afterward to tell her age, It is known positively, however, that she was born in 1783.
