Show PAVING BOND INSTALLMENT PAIDBYCITY crrr awaits allotment of PWA FUNDS BEFORE BOND ELECTION The town board approved payment pay-ment of $3,000 principal and U1 interest on bond indebtedness incurred in-curred for paving in 1928 during the administration of Dr. J. F. FJynn as mayor. Payment was made to Kidder Peabody company. Original indebtedness was for $28,000 which has been paid in annual : installments install-ments of $3,000 and semiannual interest payments. i- . A balance of $4,000 remains to. be paid. ' - Bond election for the Dry Fork, water line project will be deferred until after allotment of PWA funds. The project has been approved and funds are expected to be apportioned apportion-ed In the near future, R. W. Hart reported to the town board. 16,400 feet of pipe, of which 8.000 will be eight inch and the remainder remain-der 6 Inch cast iron piper will be necessary to construct the $30,!09 pipeline project. $17,000 will be furnished by the city and the rest ' of the expense paid from PWA funds. The total cost will be $7,000 less than the PWA engineer's original or-iginal estimates. |
