presbyterian MEETING the annual congregational meeting of tho the presbyterian church was held thursday night reports from all the societies were given showing till all of 0 them in a good healthy working condition and officers were elected for tho the ensuing terms as follows 1 I N lanning and H J white elders for or three years C dinsmore and A D F reynolds deacons for or three years C N strevell and dr J C gordon trustees tor for two years the church during the past year has raised tor for all purposes which Is greatly in contrast abt with the amount raised in ml during the year seventy new members have joined tho the church there havo have been thirty baptisms lins the sunday school numbers and the 0 of the church numbers there thero haying having teen forty members lost by removals and other causes the pastor lias has made agg calls on members of the church and cengr congregation ga but in this and in all his work he has 1113 been supported by a loyal harmonious and devoted people
