Show MINERAL SURVEYS IN MONTANA lewiston argus the following has been received from the surveyor general office of U S surveyor general helena mont july 16 1906 circular to applicants for mineral surveys in montana your I 1 attention is called to the following extract from the honorable commissioners letter N dated march 15 1904 which reads as follows to wit paragraph 34 of the mining circular provides that only four plats of the mineral survey shall be made and that only a single posting is required in proceedings for patent for a mining claim the survey of which comprises a number of contiguous locations if your practice is contrary to the above you will see that hereafter it conforms thereto in compliance therewith you are advised that but one plat of a mineral claim will be ba furnished for posting except in the case of a lode claim and embraced in the same survey when one plat will be fur bashed for posting on the consolidated lode claim and one on the as provided by paragraph 63 of the mining circular the following schedule of prices for office work on mineral surveys will be in effect on and after july 16 1906 for lode claim 25 for placer claim 25 tor or 20 for included in one survey with a lode claim 15 for each lode claim within and included in the survey or of a placer claim 15 for several lode locations included in one survey the first location named 25 all other locations included each 20 for several placer locations ju in eluded in one survey the first loca location tiou named 25 all other locations included each 20 supplemental order for survey ad dit ional 5 very respectfully 14 W BEATTIE BEATT IE TJ S surveyor general for montana |
