that city mr callahan was 71 years of age at the time of his demise G R scott was elected president of the caribou mining company recently at a meeting of stockholders held at coeur dalene city herman hilson was elected vice president C 0 sowder secretary and john W boothe treasurer D M maxey was elected fifth director asat a recent meeting of the directors of the hecla maat company at wallace it was decided to rebuild as soon as possible in a substantial way the property destroyed by fire at burke the pumps of the company are now working on the 1200 foot level and the company is preparing to
