| Show EAGLE BLUE BELL STRIKE IS BIG the he recent strike made at a depth of 1830 feet in the property of the eagle blue bell mining company at eureka utah bids fair to develop into a big ore body the deposit was cut by the main shaft and last week the workings had been sent down a distance of forty feet all in ore general manager imer pett states that the quality compares well with that found in the lower workings of the mine but that authentic information regarding average values cannot be secured until the shaft reaches a point where the ore can be mined in a proper manner sinking is to be continued until the shaft is again in the solid formation and well below the new deposit it will probably not stop short of the 1900 level which is about feet above the permanent water level the mine is in ill physical shape to produce a great amount of ore right at this time as immense deposits are exposed on half a dozen different levels but the curtailment orders from the smelters shelters sm elters hold the property down to about a carload a day |
