Show SCOUTING ON THE MARCH IN BINGHAM the annual court of honor held Monday evening in the Bingham Central school auditorium. 150 awards were given local Boy Scouts. During the past three months troop courts of honor have been held by each of Bingham Bing-ham districts five troops. These troop courts of honor and the district court were held under direction - of the chalnman, Paul S. Richards; L. F. Pett, chairman of Bingham district, and A. H. Atwood, district commissioner. com-missioner. Under the capable leadership of these men and with the help of their associates and parents of the Scouts, Scouting will continue a powerful Influence Influ-ence on boys of Bingham. It was appropriate fliat the Bingham district Boy Scout council coun-cil chose this week for the annual an-nual "court of honor. On February Febru-ary S, 1910, Just twenty-eight years ago, the Boy Scouts of America organization was incorporated incor-porated in Washington D. ' C. Since that time approximately eight million boys have participated partici-pated In Scouting, and at present pres-ent approximately 1,200,000 bofys belong to this character building organization. In 1938 the Bingham Boy Scouts received top honors in registration re-gistration among all districts of the SaW Lake council. Public support given Boy Scouts was shown in the fine attendance, at |
