Show 100 STUDENTS HAVE PARTSJNJPEREnA Over 100 students will participate in the Copperton school operetta, "The Land of Dreams Come True," to be presented Wednesday, April 1, at 8 p. m. The play opens as a group of children are enjoying a holiday. Betty, refusing to play, admits she is hunting for magic berries. These magic berries, when eaten, enable! earth people to enter a "Land of Dreams Come True" . Betty and three of the children find and eat some of the magic ber. ries and fall Into a deep sleep. Pixies awaken them and lead them Into the "Land of Dreams Come True." . Here the children meet Mother Goose, The Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe, and Mother Goose's children. Mother Goose tells the four visitors things that earth folks have not known before. As a giant is heard, the children try to escape and find themselves In a magic circle. Again, they sink into a deep sleep. Awakening they are in the everyday every-day world -again. Betty and th other children' are convinced that the adventure was just a dream-But, dream-But, if a dream, it was a dream come true. |
