NEW BISHOPRIC George S Coleman Made Bishop o of Torrey Special Correspondence ence Torrey April 28 Last Sunday at Teas Teasdale Teasdale dale d le that ward was reorganized with George S Coleman as bishop in place of his father George Coleman who was the first bishop of that ward The new bishop chose Heber J Wilson and Wil Vil William liam Ham H Heaps as his counselors The younger Mr Coleman has resided in Hebron Washington county for a anum num number ber of years past and returned last fall fal from a mission and was soon after called collet colletto to succeed his father The senior Mr Coleman is now most SO years of age am and has been the bishop of Teasdale for eighteen years y ars past and has had at least leas five pairs of counselors the last two Rudolph Naser and Lewis Adams no nob not b bling bing ing selected by his successor Edmund Elmund Hancock has moved back to Panguitch The veteran Chris Jacobs has moved from Panguitch to t spend the remainder of his life with his sons in Torrey The recent storms have bave been by b far tho the heaviest of any in this county since the spring of 1897 Hon Matthew W Mansfield has re recently recently recently purchased tho the farm fann of Joseph Cook which adjoins his Teasdale prop property property erty arty on the th east Mr Mansfields farm farmis is now far the largest and most valuable valuable valuable able in the county
