PIONEER WOMAN IS DEAD Mrs rs Phoebe Judd Kimball Passes Away at the Age of 72 Years Mrs rs Phoebe Judd Kimball widow of Heber P Kimball of ot pioneer fame and herself a pioneer died at 6 yesterday morning at her home 35 East North Temple street at the age at of 72 7 years rears With her death there passed out one of the noblest of the band which first entered Utah She was born July 1 1837 in the district of Johnston North orth Crosby Canada She was the daughter of Thomas A Judd and Teresa Hastings who were among the first to join the Mormon church after its organization by Joseph Smith In 1849 while but buta a girl of 12 years she started on the long trip overland to Utah with her parents parent arriving in the same year ear When hen 18 years year old she married Heber I P I Kimball a prominent official in the early church hurch organization He lie died in 1885 Ten children were the Issue of the marriage six of whom survive They are H Parley Parle Kimball and Al fred Kimball both of whom live in Portland Ore Teresa Kimball Werner Wernet er erner ner net of Salt Lake City Ray Ra Kimball of gripes Driggs Ida Winnefred Kimball De Do Wolfe of ot San Francisco co and Archie Kimball of Wilson Wyo Wo She is also survived by b nineteen grandchildren three one sister ister Margaret Gay Judd Clawson and two brothers George T and Alfred II n Judd both of whom live lie at Oakley Oak Ie Ida
