sharp storm at camp today gave the National Guard a taste of at real campaigning The storm came up about 9 in the morning and a heavy rain continuing about an hour resulted Despite the rain the guard the signal corps grounded all the wires during durin the storm putting the camp temporarily out of communication with the outside Battalion Drill Held After the rain was over the regular morning battalion drill was held on the wet meadow The men were put through two hours of ot hard work maneuvering The drill was the most satisfactory held yet and did much to stimulate the inter Interest eat est taken in the prise prize drill contest to tobe tobe tobe be held Friday in competition for the governors silver sUver cup The outcome of this contest is doubtful The competition seems to be chiefly between company H Hof Hot Hof of ot Salt Lake company B of at Ogden and company F of Mantl Manti The Salt Lake boys bOs have been training hard for tor the contest and are confident of winning
