company Martin Admits Charge In his speech Monday night opposing the franchIse In Its present form Coun Councilman cilman F S Fernstrom charged that the Utah Uth Light Railway company Js Is now paying the city the equivalent of 1000 a year or more for Its franchise Council Councilman Councilman man Martin who is the loudest shouter in favor of oC th franchise admitted that this was true He said however that the Utah Light Railway company ought to pa pay a revenue to the city on the basis of per cent of Its gross earnings which he be said would be a rev revenue revenue of about a year to the city Mr Martin did not explain why he was as willing to demand a year from the Utah Light Railway company and let leta a competing company off with a minimum of 1000 a year ear but the reason is well
