affairs shows the Continental to be one of the few companies which have weathered the gales of public criticism legislative investigation and official espionage and have proceeded in a safe conservative and careful way to protect the Interests of policyholder and stockholder alike The stockholders were naturally highly pleased with the showing of the affairs and congratulations and compliments were passed to Mr J Tyree on his successful handling of the business Mr Tyree has secured for himself a position as asa asa asa a factor not only in the affairs of the Continental but in the whole insurance insurance Insurance ance world He has established the fact that such s ch institutions will prosper conducted by western people on west western western ern em methods Another gratifying fact which was first brought out at this meeting was the addition to the com corn V official roster of Dr V T Mc who accepts the position of second vice president after many years service representing the home bome office of the Mutual Life Insurance company of New York at the head of the depart department department ment meat of medical revision for the west western western ern em half of the United States He lie will devote his energies to the advancement of the Continental Interests on the coast The success su cess of this company which Is yet hardly two years old is probably
