Show Masonic Library. During the month of September the Masonio library issued 167 book. The subjects were as follows: Fiction, 104; biography, 9; history, 14; magazines, S; masonry, 5; miniog, fi; poetry and drama, 3; science and art, 11;, theology, theol-ogy, 1; Iravela, 7; Utah literature, 4. This is a subscription library, open to all on the payment of an annual-subscription annual-subscription of $5. Lila memberships, $25. All are cordially invited to become be-come members. The holder of a book may renew its issuance immediately after tho expiration of the specified Lime by making mak-ing application for that purpose, but under no condition will be permitted to lake it out for a third time. Kulk 6. If a work of one volume bo injured, defneed or lost, the bolder must ; pay the value of the book. If a volume or more of a set of books bo injured, defaced de-faced or lost, the full value of tho whole sot must be made good by the holder, who may thereupon receive the renaming renam-ing volumes as hia property. Rule 7. Members to whose name a book is charged sball be responsible fur the same. Kulk 8. Boks bearing on the label tho word "Reference" cannot be taken from the library room, and any member doing so will be fined two dollars. Rule 9. Any member defacing, injuring in-juring or soiling any bonk of referoncn ahull nay tho full value of the volume. and in that case may claim it as hi i property. Kcle 10. Any member who shall mutilate or ruin the periodicals or papers placed on tho files or tables in tho room, or remove them therefrom, shall be lined two dollars. Rule: It.
