Mr. Wentworth expresses ex-presses the opinion that the moral and social power of the vast official corruptions now being brought to the surface, is yet untouched. In other words, he recognizes the society fact that money is god, and its possessor honored, no matter by what means his wealth has been obtained, provided pro-vided he can defeat the ends of justice and escape the courts, public exposure ex-posure and imprisonment. |
