Journal' Washington: Washing-ton: Secretary Sherman is annoyed at tbe statements sent from here purporting pur-porting to give hia views on the silver question. He has not said he favored a bill regionalizing silver with certain restrictions and limitations. He does not think it proper to criticise financial finan-cial bills while they are passing before congress, and he has therefore ab stained Irom any oommentson Bland'B bill, which DAssrd tbe house and is now ponding before the senate. It is known, however, tht Secretary Sherman has not modified bis views lormed a long time ago on tbe silver question, and tbat if the senate finance committee should call lor hia opinion it would be prom ply given and would not be favorable to the impending measure.
