The following fol-lowing delegates to Cincinnati were elected : Ex Governor liamsey, at large; district delegates : Lieutenant Governor tVakefield, W. H. Gale, W. G. Ward, Jchn T. Ames, Albert ft.nignt, jj. uogen. . ii. L.angdon, D. M. Sabin, N. I'. Clarke; presidential presiden-tial electors nominated; Ex-LJovernor Daris, ex-Governor Miller, General Edgerton, C. K. I'inseth, L, Bogen. Tue platform reaffirms the principles prin-ciples of the republican party, and dictates adherence to that party which baa done so much for th preservation and purification of tho country; protests agaihst confiding the government to men who strove to destroy it; invites the cooperation ot uood citizens of every party; condemns con-demns official dishonesty; demands that the guilty be puni.ihed and expresses ex-presses confidence iu Grant's administration. admin-istration. The delegation was instructed in-structed to vote in the Cincinnati convention for a man of ability and zeal, and one who' would purify the public service. The following resolution resolu-tion was adopted : Jiesblved, That, recognizing in Hon. Jas. G. Blaine of Maine, a man of tried integrity, of uncompromising loyalty, of commanding ability, both :is a leader and a statesman, a fearless, unfaltering advocate and defender of the principles which have preserved the Union and given an i undying lustre to the parly of which he is to-day tho most admired rep-I rep-I present a tivo, wo take pleasure in recording this fact, that he is Minnesota's Min-nesota's proud preference for the office- of president of the United Statts, and while we pledge ourelves to cordially support any pure and upright up-right republican whom the Cincinnati Cincin-nati convention may nominate, we nevertheless express it as our opinion that no other candidates will de- veiopo me enthusiasm or call ou tho number of votes that would b polled by tho American people for the noble champion of their rights, their liberties and their honor. A resolution instructing the delegates dele-gates to Voto as a unit on all questions ques-tions was lost. Nino out of tho ten delegates arc positively for Blaine.
