Show Salt Lake Chess CInb. A meeting of the above club was held at its rooms over McCornick & Co.'s bank last night. The meeting was numerously attended and an organization completed. Initiation fee was fixed at $1; dues, $1,50 per month. The club promises to be a success, and will supply a want that has long been felt by young gentlemen gentle-men of this community. The rooms will be open for tho accommodation of members and their friends on Thursday, November 30th, and will be well lighted and comfortably warmed. The leading newspapers and magazines will also be on file. Those wishing lo become members of the above club can apply personally or by letter to the secretary er executive ex-ecutive committee Messrs. R. C. Facer, R. L. Scannell and J. W. Irons.
