Show Beecher Wants a Chance ol Venae. New York, 4. The case brought by Moulton against Beccher for o0,-000 o0,-000 for malicious prosecution was up to-day in the Brooklyn court on a motion of Shearman for a change of venue, aa it is thought it would be easier to procure a jury in some other county than New York or King's county. Shearman submitted a num ber of afndavits from Beecuer and others to that efiect. General Pryor for the plaintiff, objected, and moved to dismiss the case, as he thought the court had no jurisdiction in regard to it. Judge Dykemau decided to con-aider con-aider Pryor's motion first, leaving Shearman's motion to atand over for three weeks. |
