The case of Louia Tronscher, for $50,000, progressed and will doubtless be decided in lavor of government. In addition to theae suits, claims against a largo amount of high wines captured at the time of tiie seizure of diitilleriea and rectify ing houses, a year ago, were withdrawn with-drawn and the spirits will pass into the hands of government. Tho bonds in the above cases are good, and it is believed government will collect the entire amounts which the high wincB are worth. Toe high wines mentioned will sum up to an aggregate of over half a million dollars. |
