Show J City Council. , Meeting of tbe city council, Tuea- 1 day evening, Mayor Little presiding. ! Petition of S. A. Woolley asking j tho council to appropriate $11.65 in addition to the amount already appropriated appro-priated of the delinquent taxes for repairing the crossings of the 9th ward, was granted. Petition of Dr. Munro asking that tho monthly leutal of tho Warm Springs b-Uh house be reduced to $100, was referred to the commiUeo on public works. Petition of Thomas Hep worth, asking ask-ing that the rent of his stall in the city meat market, be reduced te $125 per annum, was referred to the marshal, mar-shal, with instructions to make temporary tem-porary arrangements in regard to the lease. The committee on claims, to whom ; was referred the quarterly report of tho supervisor of streets, reported that they had examined the 6iine and found it correct, and recommended , that the sum due the supervisor, $S11.93, be appropriated. Adopted. Council adjourned till next Tuesday ! evening at 6.30 e' clock. |
