Show A. E. Csonin, the Oregon democratic demo-cratic elector, was serenaded fey the democrats of Elko, Nev., while passing pass-ing through that city en route to Washington. Mr. Cronin made a short speech, stating that all of the rSat legal lights sent by the radicals from New York and California to Oregon, for the especial purpose ofj consulting the law of that state bear- ing upon the subject, with the view of impeaching the governor's action, were obliged to return as they came, not having discovered a single instance in-stance in which the law goterning the qualification of electors had been violated. |
