Show THIS IDAHO INDIAN WAR. Tho outbreak of the Indians in northern ldnho appears to be a more hocking a flair than was at first stated. Incited by some recent murder, of which we have no particulars, tho Nez Fercea and other Iudians last week commenced the indiscriminate mas sacre of tho white settlers at Camas prairie, regardless of age or sex. Soldiers Sol-diers from Walla Walla and Ulalla were sent to the scene of action, and in connection with citizens from Mount Idaho encountered the Indians in a canon, where a severe fight occurred in which it is reported a large number o! tho whites wero killed, and tho remainder re-mainder wero corralled by tho Indians at the last accounts. Troops were being forwarded from distant forts, and as steamboat navigation extends nearly to the point of conflict, a few days will suffice to concentrate a considerable con-siderable forct), and relievo the settle maot. This is the first time that tho Xez Forces Indians havo been on the warpath war-path since tho settlement of tho country, and it probably will be the last, aa they will doubtless be badly punished and hereafter held under strict survcilance. It is said that Sitting Bull was largely supplied with horses during his campaign last year by these Indians, aud it may bo that an understanding exists between them and the remnants of the hostile Sioux.
