In the Episcopal general convention conven-tion the question of- shortening- the almost interminable morning prayer f the ohurch service was discussed. Nearly all the preachers faxored the reform but it was thought the object could not be accomplished without an amendment of the constitution of the church. It is likely, therefore, that the Episcopalians will continue to worry through their tedious service for an indefinite period rather than uffer the Amendment of their time-honored time-honored constitution.
