Show City Council. Mooting of tho city council, Tuoa day evening, Mayor Littla presiding. On petition of Goorgo II. Kuowl don, liia license was transform! to W. B. Folsom, Tho committee on improvement, to whom was referred the petition ol Joseph Warburton and ethers, concerning con-cerning parties tapping tho Emigration Emigra-tion ditch and endangering property in the 1st, 10th and other wards, reported that they had examined into the matter, and recommended that the ci:y watormaator bo instructed to enforce tho law on the subject. Tho recommendation was adopted. Tho committee on streets and alleys recommended that the supervisor super-visor be instructed to repair South Tomplo and Third West street in th vicinity of the railroad depot. Adopted. Schettler, city treasurer, $200; Andrew An-drew Bui t, city marshal, $150; seven policemen, $S40; W. Hyde, street supervisor, etc., $150; J. W. Burt, janitor at city hall, $52; W. R. Atkins, At-kins, gardener ou Union square, $45; W. G. Goforth, collecting dun un, $20; C. M. Donelson, cttrponter work, $26; W. E. Hyde, guard at water tanks, etc, $60. ltiU for cedar posts, $0, was allowed. Five thousand dollars waa appropriated appro-priated to take up a corporatiou note. The following sums were appropriated: appropri-ated: to be drawn on the order of the supervisor, $1,000; to bo drawn by the superintendent of tho waterworks, $1,000.
