Show -City Council. Meeting of the city council Tues day evening, Mayor Little presiding: Petition of W. C. Hall and H. C. Goodspeed, committee on behalf of the Mount Olivet cemetery, asking that the exclusive use of Washington square be granted to the Deaeret and Red Stockiugs base ball Ciuba, on the 2lM iustunt, the admission lees to wiluess a match game of base hall on that day to go to the aaid cemetery. Not granted. Thos. A. Lyne, by petition, represented repre-sented that ihe taxes on a certain piece of property which recently came into his possesion were too high, and further, that they should be paid by the former owners.
