Show GoiDS East. Mr. H. B. Clawon starts cast this morning on business, and expects to be absent altout eix weeks. He is perfecting arrangements for conducting conduct-ing an extensive mercantile concern here. Z. C. M. I. has concluded to concentrate its business where it can bo more directly overseen, and has therefore oflered Mr. C. the wagon and machinery departments and wool, hide and pelt trade of the in-Htituliou. in-Htituliou. The gentleman has nominally nomi-nally accepted the branches specified, and his trip eaut is in connection with this lutiaess. Mr.Clawson hasbad long service in tne mercantile business of Utah, both as a private merchant and as superintendent of Z. C. M. I., and his wide acquaintance with the public and their wants, and excellent standing stand-ing in business circles at home and oast and west, fit him admirably for achieving success. We wish him a pleasant and presperous trip. |
