Miss Amy Sherwin srvng "Tho Surprise," "Waiting," "Scenes that are Bright est" and together with MisB Olaen tho beautiful duet, "Holy Mother" from "Mantamv" A few duetts on the piano could not be played as Bcvcr. 1 strings iu the instrument were broken. D:iring the interval Mr. White, who W6s elected as chairman for the occasion, addressed the meeting and slated that in order to secure Miss Sberwin's services for the production of "Trial by Jury" and "Martha," u committee commit-tee had been proposed and elected, and then road out the following names: Mrs. Harkuess, Mrs. Conk-lir,, Conk-lir,, Mrs. Hugh Anderson, .Miss White, Miss Olssn, Miss Gsorgio CIawsou, aud Messrs. VanHurno, fS.irnes, Jone., Careless, Whitney and Whits. These ladies and gentlemen undertake the management of the proposed performances.
