Show The New Dollars. The new Bilver dollars received by the Deseret National bank Wednesday evening were being freely circulated yesterday, and were eagerly sought after fur pocket pieces. Tbe obverse of the coin benrs a full cut head o Liberty, crowned with a Phrygian cap decorated with wheat and cotton, the sUples of the country; the legend- "E Pluribua Unum;" thirteen Btars, and 1878. On the reverse, surrounded by a wreath of olive, is an eagle, with outspread wingn, bearing id his talons a branch of olive and a bundle of arrows. The inscriptions on this side are: "United States of America" and "One Dollar;" also the motto, "In God we Trust." |
