Lumber is abundant, p. ices low and workmen plenty, and Silver Reef is full of vitality, fair prospects and large hope. The rural districts are Bufkring for waut of water. At Bellevue they' have to haul water for milea. Tbe Santa Clara ia -dried up, and field crops are very near a total failure. The Virgen field ia not quite bo bad, but all crops are very email and light. Iu towns the fruit crops ond pros-pecta pros-pecta aro very f;rod and fair. We have ripe and in market, peara, apples, peaches, apricots, hVs, mulberries, mul-berries, goosberries and currants, and vegetablea plenty and a good assort ment. Beea are doing very poorly. I havo juat received from California a shipment of orange, lemon and banana treea, which are planted out at St. Georgo.
