This was an affirmance of a judgment in an ac-' ac-' lion concerning an old Mexican title 3 in Marin county, California. Iu respect of Mexican land grants, it is held that every confirmation is limi-- limi-- ted by the extent of the claim made; , it does not follow that because the tract embraced within the description of , tne grant is more extended than the land claimed, that the confirmation 1 would have been made to any greater amount than that claimed if it had been prayed. The court declined de-clined to go into a general consideration considera-tion of these grants and the effect of confirmations under them, remarking 1 that every conceivable aspect of the i subject has been before presented and decided, and is here affirmed.
