The parlor portion of tbe performance ia replete with good music, good jokes and good singing. After this follows the specialty or character acting, and there are eo many of these that it would be entirely out ol place to enumerate. The Bong and dance men, clog dancers and character acting and singing elicited prolonged and hearty bd plause. The ventriloquist exhibition here and there is little doubt but this eentlemau is one of the beat, if not the best, performer the world has in his line. It is simply wonderful, and this part alone is worth the money. The performance closed with a most ludicrous burlesque on "Pinafore," which, unlike most burlesques, bas some merit in it and a great deal of fun. There was a very large audience, the p irquette and circle beiog crowded, while the oilier circles were filled. A matinee will be given this afternoon after-noon at 2 o'clook, when tho "Pinafore" "Pina-fore" burlesque will be repeated. The last performance of tho trcupa will take place this evening. An entire chaugo of programme is announced, an-nounced, and it is aaid ot thia troupe mat the announcement of a change is sure lo bs carried out. Tbe "Broker's Daughter," a burlesque on tbe "Banker's Daughter" will conclude con-clude the performance. There is, sure to bo another crowded bouse. |
