Show The t'nliforniu ilruln Crop. San Francisco, 5. The crop reports re-ports receivid to-day from various parts ol the state show that in Sacramento Sacra-mento valley the yield of wheat will lie from half to three quarters of the average. The Solano county prospect is good for a fair crop and the same in Napa and Sonoma valleys. San Joaquin valley crops are very bail and at many localities will not produce the seed. The whole valley will probably average over a quarter of a crop. San Jcse valley will produce pro-duce a good hilt average. Iu Salinas valley wheat is in a splendid condi tion on tne mgniana covering auout 5,000 acres, but on the river bottom a half crop is an extreme estimate. In the southern counties grain is generally gen-erally in good condition, and the increased erea planted will probably nllord the Usual surplus. j |
