Show Mr. Uairis Benefit. Mr. W. T. Harris' benefit at the theatre last night was patronized by a great, number of the gentleman's friends, notwithstanding the disagreeable disagree-able condition of the weather and streets. " The Hidden Hand " waa very well played, Mr. H, Mra. Cum-mings, Cum-mings, Mr. Thorne and Mr. Emery enacting their paits excellently. The olio and orchestra were appreciated by the audience, but lack of space precludes mention of the individual performers, Mr. Harris was called out at the close of the piece. He thanked the audience, who had "ventured "ven-tured out" on such'a stormy night, for their attendance, the aids in the entertainment, a:,d closed with a business announcement that the Fifth Avenue company wouid play next week, cornraeneing on Tuesday night. |
