Lawton, of Georgia; Richaid 0. McMurtra, ol Virginia; E. J. Phelps, of Vermont; Charles R. Train, of Massachusetts; J. Randolph Tucker, ol Virginia to consult aa to orgauizing a national bar association. Kuger Averill, of Connecticut, calloJ tho meeting to order, and John B. H. Latrobc, of Baltimore, was called to preside, with b'rancis Kawle, ol Puiludelphia, aud J. Grant Thompson, of Albany, as necrelariea. Snuoo E. Circulars had been sen! to leading lawyers in the eeveral atatea and the iutentiou was to confine tho organization to such as had circulir?, with the view of keeping out disreputable parties.
