Show AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DOGS.. Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of Silt Like City, that it shall not bo lawful for any person to own or keep a dog within the limits of this City, without m iking application applica-tion to tlie City Recorder for that purpose, and shall pay to said Recorder, Recor-der, for the benefit of the City, an an-ual an-ual tax nf three dollars. Tue Recorder Recor-der shall register the applicant's name and a description of the dog and give i to said applicant a certificate of registry. regis-try. Any person found violating tnis sum not h.(s than three nor more than ten dollars for each oll'ence. Sec. 2. All dogs so registered, sliall wear a suitable collar with tho own-ner's own-ner's name or initials of tho same inscribed in-scribed thereon, together with tho number corresponding with tho certificate certi-ficate of registry, and all dogs found at largo not registered and collared as aforesaid shall bo liable lo be killed by any person. i See. 3. Any female dog found running at large while in heat, shall be liable to be killed, and the owner or possessor thereof to a lino in any sum not exceeding fifteen dollars. Sec. 4. Any owner or possessor of a dog permitting or su fieri ng the same to enter or be in any place of worship during the public service, shall uc liable to a line in any sum not exceeding livo dollars lor each of fen co. Sec. 5. If any owner or possessor nf a fierce, dangerous or misehiev-dog, misehiev-dog, permit the same to go at large, he shall be liable to ba lined for the first oll'ence iu the sum of five dollars; for tho second ulfeuce the sum of ten dollars; and upon the third cinvic.-tion cinvic.-tion for the like oflence shall p;iy lilloeu dollars, and the citv marshal shall immediately cause said dog to bo killed. The said marshal is hereby here-by autbori.nd to cause tho destruction destruc-tion nf all dogs not registered according accord-ing to tho provisions of this ordinn nee. Sec. (1. Any person who shall kill, or cause lo be killed, any dug registered register-ed as provided in this ordinance, without the consent of tho owner or lumiwnl' llierml nriLmrlv-n lered dog of its collar, or put a col lar on any dog not registered, hhall he liable to a tine in any sum not exceeding ex-ceeding twenty-live dollars.
