Show Going for the "Malt Water" Brewers, By the Trovo Times, of Saturday, we note that Deputy U. S. Marshal J. W. Brockway has arrested and brought to Provo, from Sanpete, five ladies; aud it is understood they have been guilty of the misdemeanor of robbiug the governments f the United States by brewing a little malt water. Four men were also brought along, charged with the same offence; but the enormity of the thing is only tjlar-ingly tjlar-ingly manifcot when it is seen how the very life of the nation is imperilled imper-illed by women engaging in this torri-blc torri-blc "malt water" traffic. We propose pro-pose having the noble aud valiant D-.'puty Marshal interviewed. That he could, in the absence of his chief now engaged straightening out mat- j tors in Washington and running the government, accomplish the daring feat of arresting five women for the heinous offence of illicit brewing of malt water, shows what manly and noble fellows we have to depend on in Iho hour of need. Perish the lemales who would destroy tho country and cut oil U revenue by i browing mult water ! |
