Show A Missing Wife Found and Property Pro-perty Discovered. Our renders will recall the case of Mrs. Aiken, formerly Mrs. Parker, of Idaho, worked up by Detective Rose some time ago. The lady had been missing from St. Louis some fifteen years. Mr. Parker, her husband, having died in the meantime, about five years ago, leaving considerable; property. Detective Rose found the woman in Idaho, and put her on the track of the properly, sho being the only heir. Mrs. Aiken proceeded south to investigate the matter, and a letter recently received from her by Detective Rose, informs him that she has been placed iu posse&sion of her late husband's property in Louisiana, being a house and lot and twenty-five acres of land. He also left 400 acres in E.ist St. Louis, on the Illinois shore of the Mississippi, which was left to her husband by his father, and has become very valuable. She has laid claim to the property and left it in the hands of attorneys. The lady has a sister in the Nineteenth ward of this city. Detective Rose is to be congratulated on "the success of the case. |
