Sad. Wc were very much grieved, yesterday, yes-terday, to learn of the death of Mr, George Smith, a young gentlemar aged 30 years. He has yeeu sick foi a long time, and until a post mortem examination was held yesterday the doctors 'fvere unable to deternrne the cause of his sickness. The result ol the examination, which was helc by Drs, Hichards and Anderson, showed it to be a cancer in tht stomach, a thing very rare in old per sons and exceedingly so in the case o so young a man. The family have our sineerest sympathy.
