' iriciviw, In the allwise dispensation dispensa-tion of the Providence of Cud, our highly-esteemed fellow-citizen and mcmlter of the City Council, Thomas Williams, w:wj removed by death from our midst on the 17th instant; therefore, "AY.Wr, That the City Council acknowledge this dispensation of Divine Providence in removing the departed from long public service and usefulness, having tilled high and responsible re-sponsible trusts with credit to himself and satisfaction to the community. ii-c!c-d, That tho City Council deeply deplore the demise of Brother Tuoniiw Willi. line, as one ol" those men wha-e nanuswill bo enshrined in the memory uf their fellow citizens, and offer to" the aiVncted family the expression of its condolence in the sad tcrcavciucr.t they have sustained.
