Show The Late Ladies' Fair. The following has reached us for publication; and wo take pleasure in giving it space: The financial result of the late Ladies La-dies Fair is as follows: Total receipts, $2,740. 0.j Total expenses, ' $111. HO Net proceeds, This speaks well for the persevering industry of the good Indies who had charge of the Fair, and also for the liberality of our fellow-citizens; and places the congregation of Saint Mary's under lasting obligations to both- The thanks of the congregation congrega-tion arc also due to General Morrow and Adjutant Bierney for use of band; to the members of band, for volunteered volun-teered services; to Mr Hussey, for moderate rent of hall; and to the Salt Lake press City,HKlui,u, Tribunrxnd X-u-s for gratuitous and fluttering notices noti-ces respecting the proceedings of the Fair. All parties will plensc accept, in return, the thanks of the congregation congrega-tion ol Saint Mary's, which are hereby respectfully tondered to them through its pustor, L. SCAXLAS. |
