During a political discussion yesterday at King William Court Housd, between J. B. Sener, Republican candidate for reelection to Congress from the First district, and I B. B. Douglas, Conservative candidate, candi-date, an aL'ray occurred which result- j cd in a serious injury to Sener, who ! had his arm badly broken and was otherwise badly hurt. It is stattd that the difficulty originated Jrom some remark by Sener in reference to Congressman Con-gressman Beck, of Kentucky, which was corrected by Douglas, Other words of an insulting character were interchanged, when Douglas threw a tumbler at Sener.and a fight followed. The crowd rushed upon the platform, and in the scuffle Sener received the injuries mentioned. New Orleans, 2?. The. J. Summers, Sum-mers, J. H.
