Show Consecration nf 1 lie Episcopa Church. The Episcopal Church in this city was consecrated as "St. Murk's Cathedral," Ca-thedral," with appropriate corennmies yesterday forenoon, a very lnrgo congregation and the following clergy were in attendance: IJishop Tuttlo, IJiihop Clarkson, Omaha, Nebraska, Ne-braska, Bishop Spaukluig, Denver, Colorado, Rev. The services closed with the administration admin-istration of the Holy Communion by Bishops Spaulding and Clarkson. In the evening a reception was given by the ladies of the parish to the visiting clergy. It was a delightful delight-ful occasiou, and was very largely attended. The tables were abundantly abun-dantly supplied with all the luxuries of the season, and flowers, brought all the way from California, wore scattered about ia bounteous profusion. profu-sion. Music and mirth abounded, and everybody appeared perfectly happy. Bishop Tuttlo and his estimable estima-ble lady received tleir friends with great cordiality, and presented all to the visitors in whose honor the entertainment enter-tainment was arranged. |
