Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, that the City be, and the same is, hereby divided divi-ded into five Municipal Wards, described de-scribed and bounded as follows, to wit: All that portion of the corporal limita lying south of the centre of Third South SLreet, extending to the east boundary of the city, and east of the centre of East Temple Street, extending ex-tending to the south boundary of the city, shall constitute .the First Ward. All that portion of the corporate limits lying west of the centre of East Temple Street, extending to the south boundary of the city andjeouth of the centre of South Temple Street, extending ex-tending to the west boundary of the city, shall constitute the Second Ward. Ail that portion of the corporate liniitd lying north of the centre of South Temple SLrect, extending to the west boundary of the city and west of the centre of East Temple Street, extending to the north boun -dary of the city, shall constitute th e Third Ward. All that portion of the corpora te limitd lying north of the centre of South Temple street, extending to the east boundary of the city and eaet of the centre of East Temple street, extending ex-tending to the north boundary of the city, shall constitute the Fourth Ward. All that portion of the corporate limits lying east of the centre of East Temple street, between the centre of South Temple street and the centre of Third South street, extending to the east boundary of the city, shall constitute con-stitute the Fifth Ward. Sec. 2. An ordinance, entitled, " An ordinance dividing the city into Wards," passed Feb. 20th, 1S60, be, and the samo is, hereby- repealed. re-pealed. Passed January 27th, 1874. DANIEL II.
