Show Theatre. , Last night "Green Bushes" very well played. The Grinnidge ot Mr. Margetts, the Jack Gong of Mr. Rea, the Miami of Miss Walters, the Connor of Mr. Sawlelle, the Mur-tough Mur-tough of Mr. Lindsay, the George of Thorite and the Gerakine of Miss Cogswell, were all well played. Mise Newton threw a great deal of life into Nelly, but overacted the part, and in trying to inake too nmch of it spoiled it. "The Spectre Bridegroom" went roaringly, Mr. Margetts as Dickory and Mr. Forster asNicodomua. This eyeping the attraction is very strong. "Tho French Spy" opens, Miss Walters in the protean part of Mathildc, Henri and the Spy; Mr. Margetts and a full cast appearing. The farco of "The Lost Child'' follows, fol-lows, in which Mr. Margetts as the "bereaved parient" is unequalled, concludes. And hgtween the pieces Professor Faber's wonderful talking machine will be exhibited. A crowded bouse is expectod . |
