Show Died in Prison. About 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after-noon a Gentian, naniiJ Frederick Hesse, died in the city jail, his disease being cercbr.il apoplexy. Hesse was known about the city and at the prison as " Shakespear No. -." He came to this city about six months ago from Cilifornia, aud wag soon after arrested for vagrancy. Since than ho has passed mo?l of the time at the city jail, being icleascd an-! arrested ar-rested every few days up till about a month or six weeks ago, when he exhibited signs of insanity, and soon alter was totally insane, ami wildly raved up till a short imo before hi death. Dr. B- B. Young tUended him in hLj sickness, but was unable to save his life. Coroner Taylor held aa inquest on the body last evening, the jury- returning re-turning a verdict in accordance with the facta, |
