Court convened at 10 a.m. The grand jury appeared and presented pre-sented an indictment against one of their number, Mr. Thomas E. Ricks, for lascivious cohabittation with three women. Ricks, indicted for lasci-yious lasci-yious cohabition, appeared in court in charge of the Marshal, and by his attorney, Mr. J. Gt Sutherland, asked to have the amount of his bail fixed. The court placed the bail at $10,000. Durant &. Cutting vs. Flagstafl S. M. Co. of Utah (limited); demurrer to complaint; Mr. R. N. Baskin, for the defendant, made a long argument; argu-ment; and Mr. J. C. Royle, tor the plaintiff, was in the middle of his argument when court adjourned till 10 o'clock Friday morning. |
