Show Police Court. Yesterday John Shin was brought up charged with an assault and battery, David Kedant being be-ing the "victim of his wrath." Shin had "gone for" David, but tho latter "shinned off" with celerity, and the physical damage was not so serious as it might have been. John was tenderly requested to hand over $15; and for two cases of contempt of court ho was fined each $5. But that was little; the money was paid. Louis Caab had been and gone and got drunk, and was fined ST. 50. Charles Lammerstolf had gone into a beer saloon on Fir.it South street, and invited another gentleman, with a name not including quite so many members of the alphabet, to participate.
