The intervening inter-vening time will bo occupied by the court in rectifying tho calendar according ac-cording to the rules adopted, setting cases for trial, and disposing of demurrers demur-rers and questions of law, so that when jury trials commence they will be uninterrupted unin-terrupted by such matters.
