Show Tus Republicans, so fir as can be judged from imperfect returns, appear to have again carried New Hampshire in the election yesterday, by a reduced majority. In a vote of 4:5,120, so far as heard from, they had lost 'JOS. In the last November election, in a total vote of nearly seventy thousand, they had a majority approaching six thousand; thou-sand; yet a yaar ago, when the voto of the State was over seventy-six thousand, thou-sand, their majority w;is only a little over two thousand. Still, Straw is, by all appearances, re-elected governor. |
